Today, we had the honor of accompanying Casey Lynn Streich on his final ride to his resting place. Casey was many things to many people — a devoted father, a loving husband, a cherished son, a proud brother, and a loyal friend. The impact he made on the lives around him will never be forgotten.

As family and friends gathered, it was clear how deeply Casey was loved. With respect, gratitude, and heavy hearts, he was escorted on his final journey — a ride off into the sunset surrounded by those who cared for him most. It was a beautiful tribute to a life that meant so much to so many.

Nicholson Funeral Home is truly honored to have been entrusted with serving the Streich family during this time. Our thoughts and prayers remain with them, and we hope the memories of Casey’s life, love, and legacy bring comfort in the days ahead.

At Nicholson Funeral Home, we care deeply about the health and well-being of our community. Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States — yet it is one of the most preventable through early detection and regular screening.

While awareness has helped save lives, it’s not enough. Colorectal cancer is rising in people under 50, with 75% of young patients diagnosed at an advanced stage. Screening starting at age 45 for those at average risk can make all the difference.

We encourage everyone in our community to talk with their doctor, understand their risk, and get screened. Getting checked can’t wait.
