Exciting News!
As iVerdure Wellness expands and starts offering natural aesthetics, we know many clients have barriers with higher cost services. We have partnered with CHERRY to offer clients an affordable way to pay for the treatments they want over time. Unlike many predatory lenders, CHERRY offers many no interest options and really works to get over 90% of the clients that apply approved.

Why use CHERRY? Some treatments are only effective if done in a series. We work hard to keep costs manageable but there’s no way to cut corners and give great care.

Long Covid Brain Fog???
You’re not alone and research is showing that an increased density of AMPA receptors (AMPARs) in the brain is directly linked to the "brain fog" experienced by people with Long COVID.

Study findings: Researchers from Yokohama City University in Japan used a new positron emission tomography (PET) imaging technique to visualize AMPAR density in the brains of Long COVID patients.

Key observations:

Patients with cognitive impairment showed a widespread and significant increase in AMPARs compared to healthy individuals.

The degree of elevated AMPAR density correlated directly with the severity of their cognitive symptoms.

Potential mechanism:

Excessive AMPAR activity may overstimulate brain cells, interfering with normal cognitive processing and leading to the symptoms of brain fog.

Takeaway:
AMPARs as a new therapeutic target for potential treatments.

Detoxification can reduce AMPAR levels. Antioxidant and inflammation support: Since the heightened AMPAR activity is linked to neuroinflammation, therapies that address this underlying cause are also being explored.

Detox agents:
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) and acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC)

These nutrients influence the brain's glutamatergic system and have shown promise in managing psychiatric symptoms, brain fog, and fatigue associated with Long COVID.
