💙 Caregiving is love in motion—and it’s exhausting.
Most days, there isn’t a perfect answer. There’s just showing up.
Showing up tired.
Showing up unsure.
Showing up anyway.
For so many caregivers, being present is the bravest thing they can do.
If you’re caring for a loved one right now, let this be your reminder:
👉 You don’t have to do it alone.
👉 Rest is not weakness.
👉 Asking for help is an act of love.
“I showed up today as best as I could, and I’ll try again tomorrow.”
Sometimes, that is more than enough. 🤍
Most of us know, or will know, that being a caregiver is exhausting, demanding and often heartbreaking. The question is how can we take care of others when we are worn out?
We find that being present is often the most we can do.
“I showed up today as best as I could and I will try again tomorrow,” says Melissa Fisher, who cared for her parents and aunt, all with varying degrees of dementia, while working and raising children.
