The start of November always feels like a reset. The year is winding down, and instead of rushing into the next thing, I’m trying to slow down and focus on what actually matters right now.

Some of the plans I had for fall didn’t go the way I pictured. A few I’ve let go of, and some I’m still making peace with. That feels human, even if it’s not perfect.

So this month, I’m leaning into small steps. Things that feel grounding instead of draining. Gratitude for what’s already here. And the reminder that it’s okay to begin again, as many times as we need.

My Story

Welcome!

I am a life coach, psychotherapist (LCSW), a mother, a wife, and an outdoor enthusiast. I work to find balance in my own life by spending time in nature, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family. I love my profession, my family, and my life.

Truthfully, balancing everything I love doing is not an easy task. It has taken me a long time, 15 years as a Therapist and Life Coach, to figure out how to do my best and allow myself grace when I don’t. It took me years to realize that my goal to “have it all” had left me in a state of constant anxiety and stress that impacted me physically, mentally and emotionally. I wanted to change how I felt, and to do that, I realized I would have to first change how I thought, including my expectations and my understanding of a balanced life.

Life balance requires a lot of flexibility. I am grateful to have chosen a career that focuses on well-being, but I did not realize that “having it all” could be so challenging. Since discovering the truth, I have adapted, developed, and implemented practices and skills that I have learned from my profession to my own lifestyle and the lifestyles of hundreds of clients. I understand that I am in control of managing my mood, my thoughts, my behavior, and my actions. I can be intentional, mindful, and balanced.
