Lela Joann Priddy Pankey was born on August 18, 1957 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Hiram Priddy and Shirley Doran Priddy. She passed away on January 27, 2026 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 68.

Lela was a fun-loving person who enjoyed shopping and loved her animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hiram Priddy, and two brothers, Tony Priddy and Jerry Priddy. She was also preceded in death by one nephew, Ben Baxter.

Survivors include:

One son, Martin Pankey of Steele, Missouri

Her mother, Shirley Priddy, also of Steele

One granddaughter, Madelyn Pankey of Steele

One sister, Lisa Baxter, and one brother, Sharkey Priddy, both of Steele

One nephew, Nicholas Priddy of Cooter, Missouri and one niece, Zaylynn Hastings, of Steele

Visitation services for 45 year old LaDon Glidewell of Steele, Missouri will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Powell Funeral Home in Steele from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

LaDon Edward Glidewell was born on January 16, 1980 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Larry D. Glidewell and Vicki L. Jarred Glidewell. He passed away on January 14, 2026 in Blytheville, Arkansas at the age of 45.

He had been employed with ANSP and Pemiscot County as a road grader operator. He was a very straight forward man who loved giving advice. He was a fan of the 90's and horror movies, and enjoyed building horror movie props.

LaDon was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, and one brother, Larry Glidewell, Jr.

He is survived by:

His mother, Vicki Glidewell of Steele, Missouri

His girlfriend, Amanda Crowell of Steele, Missouri

Two sons:

Services for Brenda Pierce of Senath, Missouri will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10:00 am at Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri with Rev. Chad Fisher officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.

Brenda Shirlene Archer Pierce was born on September 25, 1953 in Holland, Missouri to Hubert Archer and Jearline Hensley Archer. She passed away on January 14, 2026 in Senath, Missouri at the age of 72.

She was a member of the Greater Refuge Pentecostal Church in Senath and was very avid in her faith. Music was a huge part of her life and she loved listening to gospel music. She also loved books, shopping, and high heeled shoes. Brenda was a hilarious person, with a sense of humor like no other.

She was united in marriage to Olan Pierce on June 6, 1976 in Nashville, Tennessee. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and:

James Archer, Claude Archer, Larry Archer, and Mervin Archer

One son: Brian Pierce

One grandson: Alan Pierce, Jr.

One great grandson: Griffin Fisher

Charles Ruben Jumper was born on March 19, 1952 in Hayti, Missouri to Frank Jumper and Glenda Kelly Jumper. He passed away on January 12, 2026 in Steele, Missouri at the age of 73.

He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and had always been employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and never backed away from a fight.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and:

One sister: Angel K. Jumper

Three sons: Charles Jumper, Jr. and Chucky Jumper, Larry Jumper

Martha Jane Phelps Rorie was born on June 3, 1941 in Caruthersville, Missouri to Julian Phelps and Laura Leatherwood Phelps. She passed away on January 11, 2026 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 84.

She was employed by Brown Shoe Company and retired from there.

Martha was united in marriage on January 14, 1967 to Loyd Rorie, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and:

One daughter: Aida Lynn Plummer

Graveside services for 80 year old Larry Freeman of Sharon, Tennessee, formerly of Cooter, Missouri, will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri.

Larry Aubrey Franklin Freeman was born on March 27, 1945 in Cooter, Missouri to Aubrey Freeman and Sylvia Burns Freeman. He passed away on January 10, 2026 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 80.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He was employed as a welder and machinist.

He was united in marriage to Della Mae Whitehead Freeman in Caruthersville, Missouri on December 16, 1968.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Wayne Freeman and Tony Freeman.

Mrs. Kay Jeanine Ganus of Cooter, Missouri passed from this life and entered into the arms of Jesus on January 11, 2026 at the age of 60.
She died peacefully at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas with her family surrounding her.
Kay Ganus was born on August 23, 1965 in the family home in Cooter, Missouri to Elverta and Gerald Ganus.
Kay Ganus made the profession of faith at the Gobler Faith Pentecostal Church, where she professed that she wanted to be a Christian and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior.
Mrs. Ganus was preceded in death by:
Her father, Gerald D. Ganus
Two infant siblings, Sandra Ganus and Floyd Dale Ganus
One brother-in-law, Lee Adams
And her paternal and maternal grandparents
