November is here and with it comes shorter days, longer to-do lists, and a reminder: you don’t have to do it all perfectly. 💙

In Parenting Unfiltered: Episode 1, Dr. Shauna Eberhardt reminds us that “there is no such thing as a perfect parent.” 💡 Instead, what if we gave ourselves a little more grace?

We had a GOLDEN time helping hundreds of Kidder County kiddos (and adults) HUNT for ways to stay healthy this fall and winter!!!

We battled the wind and cold with dancing and K-pop songs!! Grateful for my little helpers.

It was a great turn out with lots of local businesses! Ran out of most of our prizes and treats before 5pm!!!

Happy last day of October!

The federal shutdown will impact benefits which North Dakota families rely on, like food.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funding will not reload November 1st. To better understand the scope of impact, over 56,000 North Dakotans have received benefits between Oct 1 – Oct 28 of this year. That’s 1 in 16 people.

Our governor Kelly Armstrong has announced TODAY that he is directing $1.5 million of state funds to support food assistance programs during the shutdown - Great Plains food bank and the WIC program (Women, Infant, Children) through November.
