DPT Physical Therapy & Performance

DPT Physical Therapy & Performance Physical Therapy Group providing PT to Stephenville, Glen Rose, Lubbock, Comanche & Mineral Wells, TX

Trey Taylor is Vice President and a founding partner of DPT Physical Therapy & Performance. Born and raised in Stephenville, graduated from Stephenville High School in 2008. He stayed local to attend Tarleton State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012. Has attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center where he earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015. Over the course of his physical therapy education, Trey trained under board certified orthopedic clinical specialists Drs. Darin Deaton and Tina Neuwirth, as well as board certified neurologic clinical specialist Dr. Linda Csiza. During that time, he gained valuable experience in general outpatient orthopedics, pain management, post-surgical rehab, as well as neurologic/stroke, and vestibular rehabilitation. Trey is certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy Dry Needling Institute and is currently pursuing a specialty in clinical orthopedics. Trey chose physical therapy because of his passion for working with and helping people. Everyone has a story to tell and through which there is much to learn. He most values the patient-therapist relationship, and prides himself in providing high quality, compassionate care. Physical therapy and rehabilitation are not centered around the physical impairment, but rather the person, their experiences and livelihood. The art of physical therapy is truly getting to know each person and their individual circumstances in order to create a personalized treatment plan to help them achieve their specific goals. Trey commits to not only listening, but truly hearing your story and working alongside you to obtain your highest functional capabilities. Trey’s professional interests include sports rehab, orthopedic manual therapy, dry needling, pain management, vestibular and balance therapy including vertigo treatments, as well as strength and conditioning. He is blessed to share life with his wife, Shelby Taylor, and their three kids Dru, Peyton and Jase.

59 years young and still out here doing birthday backflips like it’s no big deal πŸ’ͺπŸŽ‰ At this point, we are starting to think Dr. Darin is aging in reverse.

Every year he raises the bar, and somehow at 59 he is still flipping into his birthday with more energy than the rest of us combined.

πŸŽ‚ Help us wish Dr. Darin the happiest birthday and celebrate another year of leadership, laughter, and legendary backflips! 🎈

Balance is more than just β€œnot falling.” True balance starts at your foundation and is built through strength in your core and your legs. πŸ’ͺ When these areas are weak, your body has a harder time stabilizing itself, which can lead to unsteadiness, slower reaction times, and a higher risk of injury.

At DPT Physical Therapy & Performance, our Balance Therapy program focuses on improving stability from the ground up. We use targeted strength and flexibility exercises for the hips, knees, ankles, and core to help support better posture, smoother walking patterns, and more confident movement. πŸ‹οΈ Along with coordination drills and fall prevention strategies, this comprehensive approach helps patients regain control and stay active in the activities they love.

Are you ready to feel steadier, stronger, and more confident with every step, our team is here to help you build that foundation. πŸ‘£

Let our team help you build a stronger foundation for movement and take the next step toward safer, more confident mobility. πŸͺœ
