June 11th, 10am-4pm (includes 30 minute lunch)
This course is intended for the general public (everyone) and includes basic CPR instruction for adults/child/infant. Choking addressed as well. First aid emergency training is also included and covers emergencies such as stroke, heart attack, seizures, heat exhaustion, how to administer an epi pen and much more.

Q: "But isn't the AED only for EMS or medical professionals to use?"
A: No! An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to try to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest and are meant for anyone in the general public to use during this emergency.

Do you know how to use an AED if someone around you goes into cardiac arrest? If not, lets talk.
