To close out our celebration of Activity Professionals Week, let’s give a big hand to Forever Fit Coordinator, Deb! Deb leads daily exercise programs in all of our neighborhoods and her classes are booming!
Deb holds several certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and her classes include strength training, balance, yoga and aquatics. Deb’s motto is “do what you can”. She says it’s just so fun to see her resident friends enjoy exercise! To see folks improve and feel more confident has been very rewarding for her. Thank you Deb!

As we continue to celebrate Activity Professionals Week, we would love to showcase the Independent Living Life Enrichment team! Jasmine, Life Enrichment Assistant, has been with Lakeside for four years, starting as a LEA in Assisted-Living. Jasmine loves getting to know the residents through New Resident Socials and weekly Happy Hours. She also hosts our Ladies Night, Tuesday Trivia and Fun and Fit Fridays with Jasmine.
Life Enrichment Manager Rene, has been with Lakeside for three years. She enjoys creating the monthly activity calendar, taking suggestions from the residents on where they would like to go and things they would like to do. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is listening to the resident’s stories and the interesting lives they lead.
Thank you to these fabulous ladies for all they do to make life fun at Lakeside!

Meet our Life Enrichment Manager for Assisted Living, Moriah! Moriah has been with Waltonwood a little over a year and is having the best time engaging with the residents on a daily basis. She loves hosting the Karaoke Club and playing Jeopardy because she enjoys helping the residents be creative and active.

As we continue celebrating Activity Professionals week, we’d like to introduce you to our fabulous Transportation team!
Jeff started with Waltonwood Lakeside as a part-time Driver at the beginning of January and the residents are already having a great time with him. Before he joined us at Waltonwood, he was an aircraft servicer at Selfridge.
Oliver is going on seven years as a Driver at Lakeside and is one of our most familiar and loved faces! One of Oliver‘s favorite aspects of his job is the one on one conversations he gets to have with the residents and learning all about them.
Thank you Oliver and Jeff, we are truly fortunate to have you on the team!

To kick off Activity Professionals Recognition Week, we would like to introduce you to our Life Enrichment team for the Memory Care neighborhood. Marcia, Life Enrichment Manager, has been with Waltonwood almost 6 years and is very dedicated to her residents. She loves playing kickball with them, parachute popcorn, and any activities that get the residents moving. Paula, Life Enrichment Assistant, is going on almost one year. She enjoys the conversations she has with our memory care residents and spending time with them hosting “Finish the Line” and bingo.
