Inova's Dr. Hussain M. Dhanani didn't come alone to Woodburn Blood Donor Center – he brought his son, Safa, who donated blood for the very first time. 🩸 Safa made a double red donation, helping save lives.

Dr. Dhanani works closely with Inova Blood Donor Services and the blood banks to help ensure there's an adequate blood supply for patients in our community. 💙

Meet Marie F., a dedicated platelet donor! 💛 Marie began donating platelets after her colleague's son was diagnosed with leukemia and urgently needed transfusions. Not long after, she also donated blood during a critical shortage when a former Washington Commanders player needed blood after an accident.
