I literally mean everyone you know.

Case in point:

The moment I jumped on this case, I sent the flyer to a friend who lives nearby. She happens to have an intact dog, and the missing dog is not spayed.

She immediately walked the exact path she normally walks with her dog, brought an extra slip lead with her, and called me shortly after to say:

“We have her safe.”

Please never underestimate the power of sharing a flyer with just one more person.

You never know who lives nearby.
You never know who walks those trails every day.
You never know who has a dog that might help bring a lost dog in.
You never know who is willing to grab a spare leash and step in.

All it takes is a little bit of sharing and a whole lot of heart to help get a dog safe sometimes.

Sharing saves lives. Literally.”

There are moments in rescue that break you.

And there are moments that remind you exactly why this work matters.

We want to extend our deepest, most heartfelt thank you to Joshua for using his drone and his skills to help bring Puppy and his owner back together for their final moments. There is nothing easy about this kind of search. It is emotionally exhausting, mentally draining, and often filled with outcomes that weigh heavy on your heart long after the mission ends.

Drone searching isn’t just flying a piece of equipment. It’s carrying hope. It’s carrying fear. It’s being the eyes when families have none. It’s witnessing heartbreak from above while knowing every second counts.

What Joshua does is not easy.

It takes strength to keep showing up knowing the ending may not be the one everyone prayed for.

But because of him, Puppy was not alone. Because of him, his owner was given the most precious gift anyone could ask for in such a devastating moment — the chance to be together again. The chance to say goodbye. The chance for love to be the last thing Puppy felt.

That matters more than words can ever express.

Joshua, thank you for carrying this burden. Thank you for giving families answers.
Thank you for giving them moments that would have otherwise been lost forever.

This work is heartbreaking.
But what you gave them was also beautiful.

Our deepest sympathy to Puppys family. 💐
