Thereβs been a lot of conversation around recombinant PDGF products in aesthetics.
PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) is part of the bodyβs natural healing process and has been studied for decades. It was originally approved for specific medical uses like diabetic wound healing. Recently, some products have begun marketing PDGF in aesthetic treatments, often combined with hyaluronic acid.
The question isnβt whether growth factors are interesting. The question is whether the science actually supports the claims being made.
When it comes to your face and skin treatments, evidence matters more than marketing. Every product and procedure should be evaluated carefully, based on data, safety, and proper clinical use.
If youβre considering new treatments or regenerative options, the most important step is speaking with a qualified medical professional who can guide you based on real science, not trends.
