Sometimes the simplest tools make the biggest difference ✨

A visual timer, color-coded schedule, checklists, or labeled bins might seem small, but they can transform daily routines.

Whether it’s finishing a task at work, transitioning between activities in the classroom, or keeping a space organized at home, these simple tools reduce anxiety, increase independence, and make expectations clear.

Small tools. Big impact. 💛

Why are we called The Connection Co.?

When Andrea and Alison teamed up, they landed on a name that truly reflects what we do: The Connection Co.

They love the word connection because it’s at the heart of everything we do. We see ourselves as a bridge, linking people with incredible talent to businesses in our community.

And most of all, we love the people we work with (employers and consumers alike). Connections aren’t just part of our work; they are why we do this work.

The Underrated Superpower: Asking for Help

Confidence isn’t about knowing everything, it’s about knowing when to ask. Asking for support is a skill that builds learning, efficiency, and trust in the workplace.

For employees, speaking up when you’re unsure or need guidance shows initiative and helps you grow in your role. Simple steps like clarifying instructions or requesting a quick check-in can make a big difference.

For employers, creating a culture where questions are welcomed, and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities encourages employees to reach their full potential.

Sometimes the bravest, most effective move at work is simply asking for help.
