We’ve always believed in Wisconsin’s "h**p" industry because we pretty much self-regulated, we played by the rules, and we worked super hard every day to do the right thing. We honestly thought this was the path to full legalization. I mean, look at all these people we are helping! But things could very well be going backwards...
Now I’ve stayed pretty confident through this that something would work out and we would be able to stay in business. And while I still hold onto that hope, I won’t lie… it’s starting to look a bit scary....
This industry isn’t just about economics, it’s about community, dignity, innovation, and a better way of life for so many families across our state. We’ve shown we can do this responsibly, and now we need our voices to be heard!
