March is Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month.

Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological condition that affects thousands of people across the United States. According to the Atlas of MS, nearly 914,00 people are living with MS in the US – about 1 in every 400 people.

MS can look very different for each individual. For some, mobility challenges make everyday life harder. That’s why mobility aids, like wheelchairs can be great tool for independence and freedom.

Fitness Instructor, Autumn from Madison, Wisconsin, says:

“MS tries hard to defeat me. I try harder to persevere. Mobility aids help me navigate the world, with MS. Physical abilities, or their decline, can really mess with your mind and identity, but for me physical activity is the maintenance my body needs.”

Autumn leads fitness classes for people with physical disabilities such as MS, and has seen firsthand how movement empowers people to build strength, confidence and community.

Sunday is National Wisconsin Day!

Ki Mobility has been proudly based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin since 2006 when we took up residence in our first office on Coye Drive.

Since then, we have moved numerous times to accommodate our rapid growth. In 2009 we relocated to Borham Avenue, and then again in 2013 to Industrial Park Road.

During 2015, we realized that with such rapid growth it would be in our best interest to build our own state of the art facility. So, we began breaking ground at our current home on Woodward Drive. Upon completion in March 2016, we moved into the new location. It wasn’t long before we were expanding to meet the growing needs of the business yet again, with a significant expansion of our warehousing facility taking place throughout 2022.

Wisconsin is where our journey proudly began and from here, as part of the Etac group, we continue to grow and support mobility needs across the globe.
