At SPO, we’re proud to offer world class treatment with the comfort of hometown care, but what does that really mean to our team? 💙🏡

Hear from our administrator, Shane, as he shares what our mission means to him and how it guides the care we provide every day.

Today was a bittersweet day as it marked Dr. Williams’ official last day in the office. While he will be greatly missed by patients and staff alike, we know this next chapter of retirement will be filled with new adventures, well-earned relaxation, and plenty to keep him busy.

Thank you, Dr. Williams, for everything you’ve done for the SPO and ASC teams, your patients, and the Central Wisconsin community over the years. Your dedication, expertise, and compassion have left a lasting impact, and your legacy will continue to be felt for years to come. Wishing you all the best in retirement!💙

Shovel smart and protect your back!

As the snow keeps falling, make sure you’re using proper shoveling mechanics to stay safe.❄️

While this Central Wisconsin winter has been on the wimpy side snow-wise, that doesn’t mean it’ll stay that way. The last couple of Marches have been more wintry than the last couple of Januarys, remember. We’re likely to see lots of heavy, wet snow before this winter departs, which means…

We’re proud to be part of the Stevens Point community, but just how well does our team really know Stevens Point?

We decided to have a little fun and put their knowledge to the test with a few trivia questions. How well did you do?

While we hosted Mindy’s retirement party back in November, today marks her final official day at SPO. Over the years, we’ve shared so many fun memories, laughs, and moments that we’ll always cherish—and she will be incredibly missed.

That said, we’re so excited for Mindy and all that retirement holds for her. We’re confident she won’t be a stranger around here.

Wishing you the very best in this next chapter, Mindy, and a heartfelt farewell from all of us at SPO! 💙

Some of the SPO team enjoyed a little friendly competition this month with a gingerbread house decorating contest. 🎄🏠

Participants paid an entry fee, with all proceeds donated to the United Way of Portage County—making it a fun and meaningful way to give back during the holiday season. After an internal vote, Mallory took first place with her creative log cabin pretzel house, while Ryan T. and Mellissa tied for second with their impressive traditional house and castle designs.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped spread holiday cheer while raising money for a great cause! ✨

👋 Say hello to Dan Burow, PT, DPT, OCS, one of the physical therapists at our Business Park location.

While Dan has always loved working with shoulders, his perspective as a therapist completely transformed after he needed his own shoulder surgery with Dr. Troyer and went through physical therapy with Kris Riggs right here at SPO.

Going through rehab as a patient gave Dan a profound understanding, allowing him to feel “everything that they're feeling.” Now, he brings that deep, personal experience to every patient he treats.

We're so proud to have therapists like Dan who embody our commitment to World Class Treatment and Hometown Care!💙
