The real flex is the career where you get to change how someone feels in their own body.

Helping someone breathe deeper.
Move easier.
Live without the pain they walked in with.

We don’t just “do massage.”
We impact every single person who gets on our table.

And honestly… that’s the coolest job in the world.

Happy Friday to all of us doing human to human work🤗

Nothing makes me laugh more than when my appointment reminders go out… and the replies start rolling in. 😆

You guys crack me up.

The excitement, the jokes, the messages… it honestly makes my day every single time.

I truly have the best clients, and I don’t take that for granted. Thanks for always bringing the good energy into my treatment room. 🤍

There is nothing I love more than hearing from a client after their very first TMJ session.

The messages always sound something like this…

“I can’t believe the difference after just one session.”
“My jaw hasn’t felt this relaxed in years.”
“I had no idea this was even connected to everything else I’ve been feeling.”
“How did I go this long without doing this?!”

And honestly… I get just as excited every single time.

Because TMJ work isn’t just about the jaw.

It’s about headaches that finally ease.
Neck tension that starts to let go.
Pressure in the face and temples that people didn’t even realize was holding so much stress.

Sometimes one session is all it takes for someone to become a believer for life.

And that’s the part that keeps me so passionate about this work — seeing people realize their body can actually feel different.

This is exactly why I’m so excited for what’s coming next.

I’m currently putting the finishing touches on my TMJ training program for massage therapists, and I cannot wait to share it. My goal is simple:

To help more therapists feel confident working with the jaw…
So more clients can experience this kind of relief.

Because once you see the impact TMJ work can make in someone’s life…

You realize just how many bodies we can help.

Stay tuned. It’s coming soon. 🤗

One of the things I truly love about being a massage therapist is the community around it.

We are part of a much bigger picture in the holistic wellness world. Chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, energy workers, counselors, trainers, estheticians — we all support the same mission: helping people feel better in their bodies and live more comfortably.

Some of the best care happens when professionals trust each other enough to refer clients back and forth. When we collaborate instead of compete, everyone wins — especially the client.

One of the greatest compliments in this industry is when someone mentions your name in a room you’re not even in.

When another professional says:
“You should go see them — they’re really good at what they do.”

That kind of reputation doesn’t come from marketing alone.
It comes from integrity, skill, consistency, and genuinely caring about your clients and your community.

To all the amazing wellness professionals out there — thank you for the referrals, the collaboration, and the shared goal of helping people feel their best.

Let’s keep supporting each other. ✨

One of the things that excites me most about being a massage therapist is how much possibility there is within our work.

We aren’t limited to just one small area or one technique. The human body is beautifully connected — muscles, fascia, movement patterns, stress, breathing, posture — it all influences how someone feels in their body.

As massage therapists, we get to explore those connections. We get to listen with our hands, follow the tension, and help restore balance where the body is asking for it.

Sometimes it’s a tight jaw connected to neck tension.
Sometimes it’s shoulders that have been holding stress for years.
Sometimes it’s simply giving someone space to finally relax in their own body.

I truly believe this work helps people live more comfortably in their bodies — and that’s incredibly meaningful.

The body is always communicating. I’m grateful our profession allows us to listen.

Today I pulled a card for each of my clients, and my last client received the Grounding card.

It made me smile because you all know how much I believe in grounding and the healing benefits it can bring. We are living beings, and the Earth has an incredible way of supporting our bodies — helping calm the nervous system, ease inflammation, and bring us back into balance.

As the days start warming up, take any chance you can to step outside… bare feet in the grass, a quiet moment in the sun, hands in the soil. 🌿

There’s something deeply restorative about reconnecting with the Earth.

And of course, when we can’t get outside, grounding pads at home are a wonderful way to stay connected too.

Your body will thank you. 🌎✨

I’m really excited to share this.

One of my regular clients — who comes in every four weeks — has struggled with consistent headaches for a long time. Nothing dramatic, just that lingering, nagging tension that keeps coming back.

We didn’t “add a special treatment.”
We simply started routinely integrating TMJ work into her normal massage sessions.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing separate.
Just thoughtful, intentional inclusion.

Since her last session… her headaches have stopped.

This is why I’m so passionate about normalizing TMJ work inside therapeutic massage. It’s not an add-on. It’s not a specialty upgrade. It’s part of understanding the whole body.

Sometimes the missing piece is just a small area we haven’t been routinely addressing.

So grateful for clients who trust the process.
And so encouraged by what happens when we treat the body as one connected system.

✨ Integration over addition. Always.

If you’re a massage therapist and you’ve been curious about how TMJ can fit seamlessly into your existing sessions — I have something coming for you soon.

I use this balm in every single session.
Every client. Every time.

I hand make it with natural herbs because if it’s going on your body all day — it better be clean.

It supports depth without drag.
Warmth without irritation.
And it protects my hands so I can do this work for decades.

If you’ve been curious about it…
It’s available now.

February was a month of steady progress. 💗

A lot of behind-the-scenes work — writing, refining, and continuing to build something I believe in. Professional growth doesn’t always look big from the outside, but the consistency adds up.🫶

I also enjoyed personal time, slower moments, and being present outside of work. That balance is important. As every woman knows, the struggle is real!

Grateful for the progress, the clarity, and the direction.
Looking forward to what March will bring.🍀

Most massage therapists were never taught how to work with the jaw.

Not in a way that felt clear.
Not in a way that felt integrated.
Not in a way that made it easy to include in a normal session.

So it gets skipped.

Meanwhile, clients are clenching. Grinding. Living with headaches, neck tension, and nervous systems that never fully downshift.

The truth is—TMJ work doesn’t have to be complicated. It doesn’t have to be a separate, specialty session. It can live naturally inside the work you’re already doing.

When you understand where it fits, how to approach it safely, and how to read the tissue, it becomes one of the most impactful areas you can treat.

I’m building something specifically for massage therapists who want to integrate TMJ work in a grounded, practical, repeatable way.

Not more techniques.
A deeper understanding of the body you’re already working with.

I’m putting the finishing touches on a program created specifically for massage therapists who want to confidently integrate TMJ work into their existing sessions.

If you’ve been feeling called to learn this, you can join the waitlist through the link in my bio.

I’ll be sharing more very soon. 🤍

Most massage therapists were never taught how to work with the jaw in a way that feels natural inside a session.

So it often gets treated like an “extra”…
something separate, something specialized, something you only do when a client asks.

But the truth is — the jaw is not separate from the body.

The masseter connects into the neck.
The temporalis influences cranial tension.
The pterygoids affect swallowing, breathing, and nervous system tone.

When you include TMJ work as a normal part of your routine — even just a few intentional minutes — everything integrates more deeply.

Clients soften faster.
Neck and shoulder tension releases more completely.
Headaches ease.
The nervous system down-regulates in a way that feels profound, yet simple.

And for you as the therapist, it doesn’t require adding more time.
It’s about learning where it fits… and how to work with clarity and confidence.

This is exactly what my upcoming program teaches — how to seamlessly integrate TMJ work into the massage sessions you’re already giving 🤍

Not as an add-on.
As part of whole-body care.

Adding TMJ Work Into Your “Normal” Massage

TMJ work isn’t a specialty add-on.
It’s part of the body.

The jaw connects to the neck.
The neck connects to the ribcage.
The ribcage influences the breath.
The breath influences the nervous system.

When we include a few intentional minutes around the jaw, temples, and anterior neck, we aren’t just addressing clenching.

We’re supporting:
• Parasympathetic regulation
• Headache patterns
• Cervical tension
• Shoulder holding
• Breath depth
• Whole-body relaxation

So often clients don’t even realize how much tension they carry in their jaw until it softens.

Integrating TMJ into a routine session doesn’t mean turning your massage into a “TMJ appointment.”

It means normalizing jaw care as part of therapeutic massage for overall health and wellness.

A few skillful minutes can shift the entire session.
And when the jaw relaxes, the body follows.

I’ll be teaching massage therapists exactly how to integrate TMJ seamlessly into normal sessions inside my upcoming program.

More soon. 🤍
