We like to send out a big Thank You to A & J Market's Produce department for donating flowers for our residents last week. They brightened many dining tables and many hearts!

It's only February 2024 and already we've made some great memories. While the weather's been chilly outside, we stayed in with social times, meals and even games with our friends. As soon as the weather warmed and roads were clear enough, we loaded on the bus and enjoyed a scenic drive to Hood River.

Holy Crow it's COLD out there but we are staying warm. This photo was just taken at 12:30 today to show off our safe and clear walkway.

As for how we fared over this weekend's storm; some of our staff slept on the floor over the weekend in order to keep up with the care for our residents. We did lose power a couple short times but our biggest complaint about that is that we have to reset those digital clocks. We sure do appreciate the work of the PUD in keeping us warm and illuminated.

We've had a busy December culminating in a joyous Christmas party; Many smiles, full bellies, friendship and even a visit from Santa! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

It is with a heavy heart that I am stepping away from Rock Cove and stepping into retirement after 23 years. Rock Cove has a very special place in my heart and I cannot thank the community enough for all the support over the years. It has been an honor to serve many seniors and I take with me a learning experience from each one.
I would like to thank the phenomenal team at Rock Cove for all the care and compassion they show on a daily bases - they are Rock Cove. 💕 It has been a pleasure to work beside you!!! I wish you all happiness and health as you continue to give from your hearts.
To all the families and friends of residents over the years, it has been a pleasure working with you all to provide the best possible care for your loved one - this partnership is so important and I thank you. It is a very high honor to be trusted to care for the people you love!
The full communities support of Rock Cove is so wonderful and something that has amazed me time and time again! As we made our way through the pandemic there was so much support from businesses and community members that it was difficult to track and thank each one as we were implementing measures to protect our seniors on a daily bases and time seemed so jumbled-Thank You!
I hope to visit/volunteer at Rock Cove and continue to enjoy the happiness this special place brings! It will be fun to partake in happy hour! 😊
