Recently, at Advanced Body Chiropractic we have been seeing and treating many youth athletes in the sports of hockey as well as wrestling. All sports are stressful on the joints. Hockey collisions lead to strains, tears and bruises which are stressful on the underlying nerves (and joints). Wrestling is stressful on the nervous system because it can lead to overstretching of joints, through holds and flips. It is SO important to have regular spinal adjustments while active in sports, I recommend weekly adjustments minimally while in season.
Chiropractic adjustments re-align the spine (and extremities) relieving discomfort, reducing inflammation and promoting healing of the muscles and joints.

Dr. Stephanie Lillis D.C. is a Rochester, MN native. She received her Bachelor's degree in biology from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN and her Doctorate from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Lillis is also certified to perform acupuncture and is a Federally Certified Medical Examiner. She has been in practice since 1998 and is a premier specialist in Sports Chiropractic. Dr. Lillis is a four year veteran of the Sports Med team with the Granite Games (the largest Crossfit competition in North America!) She has helped athletes from all over the globe! Dr. Lillis is also highly experienced with treating patients from pediatric to geriatric and her motto is 'Here to serve'.
