💙 Thyroid Awareness Month – January 💙

Your thyroid may be small, but it plays a big role in your overall health. The thyroid gland helps regulate metabolism, energy levels, heart rate, and body temperature. When it isn’t functioning properly, it can affect many aspects of daily life.

At Haskell Regional Hospital, we encourage our community to be aware of common thyroid symptoms, including unexplained weight changes, fatigue, hair thinning, mood changes, and sensitivity to cold or heat. Many thyroid conditions are manageable when detected early.

If you are experiencing symptoms or have concerns about your thyroid health, talk with your healthcare provider. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a meaningful difference.
