In recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month, Haskell Regional Hospital is committed to educating families about the signs, symptoms, and long-term impact of brain injuries.

From concussions and sports-related injuries to traumatic brain injuries caused by falls or accidents, early recognition and appropriate care are critical to protecting health, development, and quality of life.

Warning signs such as persistent headaches, dizziness, confusion, behavior changes, or difficulty concentrating should never be ignored. Seeking timely medical attention can make all the difference in preventing further complications.

Today, March 26, Haskell Regional Hospital joins communities across the nation in recognizing Epilepsy Awareness Day. 💜

Epilepsy is a neurological condition that affects millions of people of all ages. By raising awareness, we can help reduce stigma, support those living with epilepsy, and promote understanding of seizure safety.

Did you know?
✔️ 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy at some point in their lifetime
✔️ Seizures can look different for everyone
✔️ Simple first aid can make a big difference during a seizure

Seizure First Aid Basics:
➡️ Stay calm and stay with the person
➡️ Turn them on their side
➡️ Do NOT put anything in their mouth
➡️ Call 911 if the seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes

At Haskell Regional Hospital, we are committed to supporting patients and families through education, care, and compassion.

Let’s stand together, wear purple, and spread awareness today! 💜

At Haskell Regional Hospital, we’re dedicated to helping families understand the powerful role nutrition plays in a child’s growth, development, and overall well-being.

Healthy eating habits formed early can help prevent chronic conditions like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, while also supporting strong immune systems, cognitive development, and steady energy for learning and play.
We partner with caregivers through community education, family-centered care, and access to registered dietitians and specialized pediatric services to encourage balanced, nourishing choices.

We are loving the humor of our fun-loving employees! What started as one simple blue bunny sitting outside of the Lab door (note the sign that says "nobody puts bunny in the corner"😉) has increased to multiple bunnies (and two chicks) anonymously appearing beside him throughout the week! You know what they say about rabbits! 😆 We will keep you posted! 😍
