In recognition of Kidney Health Awareness Month, Haskell Regional Hospital is committed to raising awareness about the importance of kidney health for children and families in our community.

Common issues like UTIs, kidney stones, congenital abnormalities, and chronic kidney disease may show subtle signs, including changes in urination, swelling, fatigue, or high blood pressure.

Through community education, family-centered care, and access to specialized pediatric services, our team is here to support early detection, timely intervention, and ongoing care.

EODD is sharing this important opportunity to help shape the future of transportation in our region and across rural America. The DOT's ROUTES Initiative is actively seeking feedback on challenges, needs, and opportunities related to rural infrastructure.
This is our chance to tell them directly about:
Infrastructure Condition: Aging bridges, bumpy roads, and how weather impacts our daily travel.
Safety: What makes our roads dangerous? (Think wildlife, rail crossings, pedestrian safety, and emergency response times).
Technology: The need for better broadband and cell service, and how new tech can help our communities.
Funding Challenges: Why it's so hard for small communities to get grants for vital projects.
Why is this important? Your stories and insights will directly inform future federal support, resources, and grant programs designed to improve rural transportation. This means safer roads, better access, and stronger local economies!
