🎄 Holiday Hours at Pioneer Health🎄

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around the clinic — lights are twinkling, cocoa is flowing, and Peanut the Elf has clearly had too much free time (see photo evidence below 😂🛹).

We wanted to share our holiday schedule so you can plan ahead and enjoy the season without any worry:

✨ Christmas Week ✨
• Monday & Tuesday (12/22–12/23): Open regular hours
• Wednesday, Christmas Eve (12/24): Open until noon
• Thursday & Friday (12/25–12/26): Closed

✨ New Year’s Week ✨
• Monday & Tuesday (12/29–12/30): Open regular hours
• Wednesday, New Year’s Eve (12/31): Open until noon
• Thursday, New Year’s Day (1/1): Closed
• Friday (1/2): Open until noon

If something comes up while we’re closed, our members can always reach us by text or leave us a voicemail and we’ll get back as soon as we can — because that’s what neighbors do 💙.

🎶 Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree at the Christmas party hop….🎶 The Pioneer Health team enjoyed a business lunch at Teller’s in OKC last week to celebrate the holidays. Their decorations were over the top, the food was delicious, and the service impeccable. If you’ve not tried it we all highly recommend! 🎄

Excited to lead the charge for DPC nationwide with the Alliance as the President elect!!

Hello DPC family!! I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for selecting me as the next president of the DPC Alliance. My term will officially start in January and I am excited for the mission set before us. This is a team sport and to push the organization to the level of excellence that we all want the Alliance to be, I will need lots of help. If you have interest in helping on committees or helping reach local or regional medical students or residency programs please let us know. You can email hello@dpcalliance.org as a general point of contact. I look forward to mobilizing an army of DPC docs ready to take on the challenge set before us to transform medicine. It was amazing to talk to physicians at the Texas AFP conference last week along with current Alliance president, Dr Jeff Davenport . One bright spot (of many) was meeting a group of 3rd year residents familiar with DPC who follow Dr. Maryal Concepcion and the My DPC Story podcast and encouraging them in their journey. Same song, second verse. Relaxing on the couch still in my scrubs and got a text at 8:36pm from fellow DPC doc, Dr Chris Sudduth of Remedy Health Direct Primary Care. One of his patients suffered a minor laceration playing intramural sports that needed closed. Met them at the office at 9pm, cleaned it up and closed with a bit of dermabond all as a professional courtesy because I know Dr Sudduth wouldn’t hesitate to do the same. Patient on their way by 9:05. Bing bang boom, done! 💥

What makes DPC different you ask? Well, when this young lady stepped on a broken snow globe this Sunday evening her mother called me from urgent care who was recommending she go to the ER for foreign body removal. Instead, I met them at the office and had them out the door in 30 minutes. We got the glass out of her foot saving her family $$$ and giving the patient peace of mind by being able to see the doctor she’s known her entire life. (Pic shared with parents’ permission)
