Starting Wednesday, December 24, mail won’t be postmarked until it reaches a regional processing center — which may take 2+ business days. That means a check mailed on Dec. 31 could receive a Jan. 2 postmark and be counted toward 2026 taxes instead.

To avoid this, mail your contribution early, or on/before Dec. 31 request a hand‑stamped postmark at the post office when dropping it off.

We are honored to partner with United Way of Washington County - East to support those in our community!

Tim never expected to need help putting food on the table but living on a fixed income while caring for his disabled wife and adult daughter, every dollar matters. Because of United Way of Washington County-East donors, Tim doesn’t have to face those challenges alone.

Through our Health Impact area — we find 8 local organizations delivering 10 essential health-focused programs — strengthening mental health, improving access to care, and ensuring families have access to healthy and nutritious food.

One of those partners, Cimarron Community Farm Food Accessibility Program, is changing lives in the Cimarron Park neighborhood. Families can access fresh produce through gree farmers markets and food distributions with Open Cupboard and Valley Outreach.

As Mandee Rae so powerfully shared:
“I encourage others to give because United Way impacts all of Washington County. They help meet so many essentials needs — shelter, mental health, basic needs, and food access — through a truly community-driven approach. I will continue to give because I can.”

Your donation today can help out food on the table for a neighbor in need. Donate to part of someone’s story of hope - together, we can then struggle into stability.

This winter, The Mitten Thief has turned over a new leaf… Instead of taking mittens, they’re making sure no child is left with cold hands. Thanks to a generous donation from Chopper Mill, 30 pairs of high-quality mittens will keep our Youth Development participants cozy all season long.

From one mitten lost to one mitten found, the story continues—and now it’s one of generosity, warmth, and community care. 🧤❤️

Thank you, Chopper Mill, for helping us keep the hands (and hearts) of our youth warm this winter.
