When DREAMS become reality!
Miss Charlene spent years caring for animals as a dog groomer and pet nurse, but it had been 10 years since she’d felt the comfort of holding a dog again. At the GHCA Winter Convention last week, that changed. Partnering with Second Wind Dreams featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour, National Mobile X-Ray, and PAWS Atlanta, Charlene was surprised with new art supplies to reconnect with her love of painting — and a puppy from PAWS Atlanta to reconnect with her heart for animals.
And the dream didn’t end there — Ms. Charlene's home at Anderson Mill, adopted the puppy, turning one resident’s dream into ongoing joy for an entire community! Watch the heartwarming moment below!

Join us in congratulating Brad Adams from Ridgecrest Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center as being named our Engineering and Environmental Services Champion of the year! Brad keeps the staff and residents trained and exercised on the most up-to-date Emergency Preparedness procedures and keeps the facility supplied with the Emergency Preparedness equipment needed.
