Chronic pain affects more than just your body - it can also impact your mood, stress levels, sleep, and overall quality of life. That’s why Pain Care includes Behavioral Health assessments as part of a comprehensive, whole-person approach to pain management.

After your new patient visit, you may be contacted by one of our Behavioral Health Coordinators for a virtual (phone-based) assessment. This helps our providers better understand your needs and create a safe, personalized treatment plan.

If you ever have questions about a call you receive, please don’t hesitate to contact our office directly. We’re here to support both your physical and emotional well-being - because managing pain means caring for the whole you. 💙

Here’s what the team has to say about Laura: Laura does a good job at juggling several different roles within the organization. She works diligently at giving our patients great customer service and individualized care while scheduling and organizing all their Large Case appointments, labs and while assisting in the OR during their procedure. She makes sure they feel at ease and have all their questions answered ahead of time and communicates with staff effectively throughout the whole process. Her time spent at each location and on each case is very much appreciated by providers, staff and patients. We thank her all she does!

We would like to welcome Angela to the team. She is our licensed Behavioral Healh Counserlor. With over 20 years of experience in behavioral, mental, and emotional health, Angela is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find healing, resolution, and restoration. Her life’s work focuses on addressing both inner and relational conflict -supporting clients as they navigate present and past pain while rebuilding balance and moving toward a healthier, thriving future.
Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, and holds a Doctoral degree in Human Behavior and Counseling from Capella University.
Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, couples and conflict resolution, work-related stress, family dynamics, trauma and abuse, attention-deficit disorders, veteran services, and infertility education.
