and I had a blast at the Anaheim race this past weekend! It wasn’t a walk in the park but we’ve both done way harder races than this.

I would love to have you join us for the next one at Oracle Park (Giants stadium) in SF on Saturday 12/4/21.
Look for our team “Form Junkies” we have an afternoon start time of 1:30 and this race will take 2 hours max.

I will start to hold Saturday workouts with some Spartan inspired exercises or “obstacles”
I’ll even set up a spear throw!!!

I used to see all these mistakes done on a daily basis back when I worked at Inshape. I would try to tell people how to fix what they were doing incorrectly but some people just know everything already.

DON’T BE THAT PERSON!

Trust me I’d be stuck making a lot of these same mistakes if it wasn’t for me doing constant research on exercise for the last 15 years or so.

The good news is if you come workout with me you won’t make any of these mistakes! Unless you show up late and miss the warm up but that’s on you.

Turkish Gets Ups.... that is usually all I have to say to my class to hear a bunch of groans and moans.
They are a challenge but also a great exercise that you can perfect more and more over time.
I won’t make you do them with a barbell, typically they are done with dumbbells or kettlebells. Check out my video on n my story to see how they are done!!!

Today is yoga day and WOD day depending on class time, look at my story for those times.
has seen the value in yoga and I know if you try it you will too.
My yoga class isn’t about spirituality, it is focused on attaining the flexibility needed to do proper lifting from on things like squats and deadlifts.
My yoga routine will also help to alleviate soreness in your muscles and your joints more than static stretches will.
It’s also a great way to practice the deep breath that you should be utilizing during your normal workouts.
Core strength, yoga will help you build more core strength than doing a bunch of crunches will. Abdominal muscles are not primarily utilized for movement, but they are there to stabilize movements.
Some people think yoga is too easy, they aren’t putting enough effort in n to the poses. Some people think it’s too hard, they aren’t breathing enough or doing it with enough regularity. You need to incorporate some yoga or active stretches at least twice a week.
Let me get off my soap box now... but seriously get your asses here!

F**k cardio! Today is lifting day!!! You can get that cardio stuff done with me tomorrow.
➡️Focusing on cardio to lose weight is the completely wrong approach.
You need 3-5 days a week of weight training and you can add in cardio or yoga between those to help burn more calories on your “active rest days”
➡️$35 for your first two weeks!

This will literally happen and it’s so sad, people just don’t know what to do at the gym. Not to mention running on a treadmill is actually an inferior exercise to running outdoors. Don’t be confused at the gym, come to my gym and I’ll actually give you good workouts and help with form!
