These poor kittens were born in a bush on top of bark and long strips of bark. Their umbilical cords entangled resulting in 1 death and a limb strangulation and amputation on another. After some careful scissor work, the three kittens were released from each other. They are now doing well 5 days post.

This is Desi, a 7 year old kitty who presented for non weight bearing on the left hind leg. A plate and pin was offered to owners but was declined due to finances. A pin and cast was pursued to allow for fracture realignment and limit rotational movement. We think this sweet girl will do well with her recovery.

This is Lassie, a sheltie mix with a beautiful coat with the exception of her feet, inner thighs and armpits. She has a very classic example of a flare up of her environmental allergies or atopy.

This is our sweet George, who was originally a part of a feral colony (see battle scars). He presented for evaluation of a wound to his right hind leg. His owner also wanted us to evaluate his left eye which had seemed to be bothering him more recently. On evaluation, it was noted that he had an uncommon eyelid condition where his lower eyelid and lashes were rolled inwards causing chronic rubbing and irritation (entropion). Unfortunately, there is no before picture, but we couldn't be happier with his 2 week photo op. His right eye /normal eye is presented for comparison. Wouldn't you agree that our George is just the most handsome looking tough guy?

Here's your sweetness overload for the day! We think this owner is the cutest with his questions and that Sim Sim is doing a great job trolling his dad at home. Some cats are just too cool for us owners and after you see Sim Sim, we're sure you'll agree with him too!

This is Ginger, a sweet cocker who presented for scooting and chewing at her rear end. She had a large impressive a**l gland rupture on the left side which was repaired. This is the material obtained from just her right a**l gland! Ginger will be placed on a maintenance monthly a**l gland expression to prevent future a**l gland abscesses and ruptures!

This is Lexi, a sweet 8 month german shepherd who came in for a few patches of progressive hair loss. On skin scraping, we were able to identify a localized overgrowth of demodexx mites. Luckily for this girl, the overgrowth is due to her immature immune system or in other words being a young growing puppy. A few more months of growth, some TLC and this girl will be back with a full growth of hair!
