Hooray, it’s time to apply! Digital applications for summer 2026 are now LIVE. Spots are first come (with all paperwork,) first approved, so don’t delay.

Parents of campers, head to www.CampCarefree.org/campers for a link to the application form.

Counselors & CITs: www.CampCarefree.org/volunteer

Please NOTE: everyone must ALSO complete and submit the required medical information forms before you will be considered applied for Camp Carefree. (For safety and privacy, these are in paper form.)

Also if you prefer to do the entire application on paper, that version will be uploaded on the same pages soon. Same for Spanish apps!

- June 28 - July 3: NEURO - epilepsy & neurological disorders

- July 5 -10: CANCER - leukemia & other cancers, Down syndrome

- July 12 - 17: KIDS - well children with a chronically ill parent

- July 19 - 24: SPINA BIFIDA - spinal cord disorders & injuries

- July 26 - 31: HEMOPHILIA/TURNER'S - bleeding disorders, von Willebrand disease & Turner syndrome

Friends, our page is getting spammed with comments like the below on past posts... these are FAKE! Please do NOT click and definitely do not buy. We are erasing the messages as fast as we can, but the bots are faster. FYI while they appear to come from different "accounts," they all seem to start with the akward "I would like to inform you..."
