This Hispanic Heritage Month feels different. đź’›
Whether you identify as Latine, Hispanic, or as an ally, I invite you to reflect:
✨ How is your connection to latinidad impacting your mental health right now?
✨ What practices are you intentionally leaning on to care for yourself?
I’d love to hear your perspective. Sending love your way 🌿💫

Today, on the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, I want to share something very special with you.

After an intense and heavy few months, seeing my name among this year’s honorees feels extra meaningful.

✨ It feels special because, even though I’ve always valued mental health, now more than ever, taking care of ourselves is a necessity.
✨ It feels special because my 10-year-old daughter took this photo — and she already understands the importance of this work.
✨ It feels special because my parents bought the Globe Magazine I am holding to celebrate this moment with me.
✨ It feels special because, even with the love of my supportive husband and friends, I’ve had moments of hopelessness as I’ve seen my work impacted by everything happening. Yet seeing the names of so many amazing Latinos and Latinas instantly lifted my spirit.

I am especially proud to be recognized as a 2025 ALX100 honoree alongside dear friends like and and inspiring leaders I’ve been fortunate to meet along the way — my compatriota Jennifer Casas, as well as Samalid Hogan, Melissa Alves, and And of course, many other wonderful friends who have been honored in previous years (yes, I am that lucky!).

Gracias, ALX, for instilling hope during challenging times and for recognizing and believing in my work, and the work of so many Latino leaders. My heart is full.

đź’ What would change if we all learned as kids that every emotion is welcome?

✨ This Saturday I had a first-time experience that filled me with joy: leading a workshop with my daughters! They are 9 and 7 and took their jobs very seriously 💜

At the we facilitated “Todas las emociones son bienvenidas” — a space to remind ourselves (and our kids) that there are no “good” or “bad” emotions. I’m grateful for this beautiful collaboration. Gracias ✨

Alongside the girls, their caretakers, and teachers, we used creativity to recognize and welcome all the big —and sometimes contradictory— feelings we carry.

Did you grow up thinking some emotions were “off limits”?

🌺 I recently had the chance to see the co**se flower (Amorphophallus titanum) in bloom — and it really stayed with me. 🌺

This rare flower is known not just for its dramatic, towering bloom, but also for its strong, challenging scent. At first, it might seem off-putting, but the co**se flower teaches us a beautiful lesson: real strength and beauty come from embracing every part of ourselves — even the messy, complicated, and uncomfortable parts.

As Latina leaders, we carry the strength of our ancestors, the passion of our culture, and the dreams of our families. And yet, we also face unique challenges — from systemic barriers to the emotional weight of navigating multiple worlds. These tough times ask us to show up again and again, even when we feel stretched thin.

Like the co**se flower’s rare bloom, our fullest growth happens when we honor all parts of our journey — the light and the shadow. When we treat ourselves with kindness and compassion, we can lead with authenticity, resilience, and heart.

If you’re ready to embrace your whole self, build resilience, and lead in a way that honors your roots and your power, I’m here to support you. I offer workshops and coaching designed especially for Latina leaders, focused on well-being, self-acceptance, and sustainable leadership.

This is how a struggling mom looks like:

❤️ Loving her children deeply and still fantasizing about dropping them off at school tomorrow.

🌞 Wanting them to have a joyful, magical summer and feeling exhausted trying to make it all happen without spending a fortune.

🫶🏽 Grateful they’re little and still home and craving space to breathe, think, and just be.

This summer has been especially hard—and what’s helped is talking to other moms, practicing the tools I have, and returning to self-compassion again and again. 🌿

There’s room for all of it.
đź’› You can love your kids and still feel completely maxed out.
🤍 You’re not alone. You’re not failing.

You’re human. And you’re doing your best.

💜 As a Latina immigrant therapist, I know firsthand how important it is to create accessible, culturally responsive mental health support — especially in times like these.

💜 This summer, I’m offering two partial scholarships for 1:1 therapy as part of my ongoing commitment to making sanación (healing) and connection more accessible within our comunidades.

đź’ś If you or someone you know could benefit from this opportunity, I invite you to DM me directly or schedule a complimentary breakthrough session here: https://lnkd.in/eAzfafv7

✨ Please feel free to share this post with your network — access to support can be life-changing, and together we can help make it more reachable

💜 Not a religious post—just a reminder of the power of pausing and tuning in.
I use card decks to ground myself, and before joining on her podcast last week, I pulled this message:
✨ Speak your truth.

My business has been hit hard recently, and I knew I needed to be real about it. That’s what we did—an honest, healing convo.

Gracias Paulette—not just for the invite, but for your coaching, support, and the constant reminder that it’s possible. 🙏🏼💫

I’m originally from Venezuela, but after 17 beautiful years alongside my incredible Brazilian partner—and raising our two filhas—Brazil has become a second home to my heart. 💛💚

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with many brasileiros, supporting them on their mental health journeys and conducting immigration hardship evaluations.

Estar em comunidade e apoiar uns aos outros is more important now than ever.

Muito obrigada to and from Insurance for including me in such a meaningful and necessary conversation. Your continued commitment to prioritizing saĂşde mental is both inspiring and essential.

Cuidar da saúde mental começa
com reconhecer que não precisamos enfrentar tudo sozinhos — podemos pedir ajuda e oferecer apoio mútuo.

Let’s keep building communities where mental health is valued, and no one feels they have to carry everything alone. 🤝🧠

đź’ś Therapy with the right therapist can help you look at things differently.

💜 I’m not talking about seeing flowers all over the room 🤪 BUT about finding alternatives that you didn’t see before, getting closer to some situations, making space from some others….

💜 Therapy with the right therapist can be healing. I know because I’ve had that experience.

💜 I’ve also had no so great experiences, so I know what that feels like too.

💜 If you think I’m the right therapist for you, please know that I’m taking new clients ✨
