In honor of Stress Awareness Month, residents enjoyed live entertainment and a relaxing afternoon filled with music, smiles, and connection.

Music has a way of bringing people together and lifting spirits, and it was a beautiful reminder of the joy and calm it can create for everyone, no matter where they are in life.

Thank you, Cummins Emission Solutions and Atmus Filtration Technologies for continuing your wonderful tradition of stopping by each year to give roses to all of our residents. It’s a simple gesture, but one that means so much and brings a lot of smiles throughout the day.

Moments like this remind us how powerful community connections can be. When local organizations take the time to show up and share kindness with our residents, it creates meaningful memories and reminds everyone that our seniors are valued, respected, and deeply connected to the community around them.

We are grateful for partners like Cummins Emission Solutions and Atmus Filtration Technologies and appreciate their continued generosity and support of our residents year after year.💙

When someone you love is getting ready to leave the hospital, it’s easy to focus on one thing:

“Are they strong enough to come home?”

But here’s something many families don’t realize…

Being strong enough to walk isn’t the same as being ready to live safely at home.

Occupational Therapy helps patients relearn everyday tasks like:
✔️ Getting dressed
✔️ Showering safely
✔️ Preparing meals
✔️ Moving around the home with confidence

It’s one of the most important parts of recovery—and one of the most overlooked.

We put together a simple guide to help you understand why it matters.

Today is National Healthcare Decisions Day

This day is a reminder that your voice matters, especially when it comes to your health. Afterall, it is . Take time to talk with your loved ones, make your wishes known, and put your care preferences in writing. Planning ahead isn’t just smart, it’s an act of care. Here are five tips to help you have the right conversations.

1) You don't have to talk about everything, to everyone, all at once. The conversation of care should be an ongoing one as care journeys change.

2) Be patient. The idea of talking about healthcare directives can be overwhelming at first. Start off with small, quick conversations to get the ball rolling, and the longer, in-depth conversations will follow.

3) You don't have to lead the whole conversation. Allowing your loved ones to share their thoughts and concerns during these discussions is crucial. They may suggest something you hadn't yet considered.

4) Nothing you say is permanent. You can change your mind as often as you would like, but it starts with having conversations.

5) You may learn that your loved ones don't agree with your plans and wishes, and that's okay! The important thing is that you are having these conversations now and that you continue having them. This will ensure your loved ones will know your choices and follow through with them.

We're building future careers at Parker High School!

Our team had the opportunity to speak with students about hiring, interview screening, and resume building, helping them gain insight into what employers look for and how to confidently prepare for the workforce.

We enjoyed sharing guidance, answering questions, and encouraging students as they begin exploring career opportunities. Supporting the next generation as they build their professional skills is always a rewarding experience.

If you are interested in joining our team, we invite you to stop by our job fair on April 29th to learn more about available opportunities and meet our team in person.
