Introducing Cooper... โญ
Cooper is a participant in the SAILS program at North River Collaborative, where he builds important real-world skills to prepare for adulthood. Based in Downtown Bridgewater, the SAILS (Student Achieving Independent Living Skills) program is for young adult ages 18-22 that focuses on developing independence through hands-on support tailored to each personโs interests and strengths.
Cooper has been involved in our Pre-ETS program since December of last year. Through Pre-ETS, he has worked on improving his professional presence, as well as key job readiness skills like creating a resume, writing cover letters, and practicing introductions. He has especially enjoyed assisting the Tempus maintenance team as an internship opportunity, helping him feel more comfortable and confident in a workplace setting.
Outside of his programs, Cooper enjoys horror movies, video games, and collecting trading cards. He describes his โsuperpowerโ as his strong communication skills; he can connect with others, understand their interests and carry meaningful conversations. Cooper is known for being kind, observant, and an animal lover, he takes pride in sharing knowledge and information to support those around him.
