Our CMO and an advocate for FirstLight Home care, Jarrett Dowey, USAF Veteran, and one of his best friends, Nate Dujanovic, owner of Starboard Property Inspections, and Navy Veteran, went out to Danbury Senior Living for a special pinning ceremony for the resident veterans. Jarrett and Nate were honored to be a part of the ceremony and thank their fellow veterans for their service. Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a significant and honorable day! Happy Veterans Day to all of those who have served and continue to serve. We are so proud to serve you now at OneKey Virtual Care and as a contracted VA Provider at FirstLight Home Care of Akron.

Great article shared by our incredible Medical Advisor, Dr. Charlotte Grinberg, that talks about the role of AI in dementia care. An important quote from the article: "However, 'it’s critical that AI doesn’t replace the human contact that is so important in dementia care,' Ms Carragher says. “Instead, it should be used to enhance care in a way that is beneficial to people living with dementia and their carers." At OneKey Virtual Care, that is our belief entirely. We combine technology WITH human interaction. We do not take the human element out of our product, allowing us to provide compassionate care virtually. Our virtual caregivers develop a relationship with our patients and their families, something so rare in the technology space.

AI projects are underway to help ease the challenges of dementia.

Thank you to the The Chapel Akron for hosting us for a special panel on senior care last week! What a great event! We loved being a part of it! So much great discussion from so many great organizations including Alzheimer's Association, Direction Home Akron Canton Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities, Edward Jones, Ohio Living, FirstLight Home Care of Akron and others!!! We are fortunate to have so many incredible resources including The Chapel in our own backyard!!

Had an absolutely wonderful time supporting such a festive event hosted by Maplewood Senior Living at First Congregational Church of Hudson for Valentine’s Day! The event featured a bouquet making activity by Dietz Floral Studio and a class by Maplewood Chef on how to make creme brulee! What a treat! We had such a great time talking about virtual care and FirstLight Home Care of Akron!
