🌈 LGBTQ History Month Spotlight: Kelley Robinson is breaking barriers as the first Black, q***r woman to lead the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) — the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization.

With over 15 years of advocacy, Kelley has championed equality, racial justice, and gender equity. From historic election wins to the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act, Robinson’s leadership has driven real change.

Q: What should you do if your doctor refuses to send a prescription to your pharmacy? 💊⚕️

A: You should ask them to provide a written prescription instead. A paper prescription can be taken to ANY pharmacy you choose. ✍️

If this remains a problem, you can contact the Connecticut Department of Public Health or the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection which oversee the regulation of licensed physicians and pharmacies, respectively.

Meet HCAI’s Registered Nurse, Stacey Kavanaugh-Schofield 👩🏽‍⚕️🩺

Stacey began her journey in healthcare earning a Master of Science in Athletic Training. For over a decade she worked as both an Athletic Trainer and Personal Trainer, fostering a deep understanding of physical health and well-being, however her passion for nursing was always present. After graduation from Nursing school, Stacey worked as an inpatient nurse at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale. 🏥

Stacey has discovered true satisfaction comes from caring for others and the ability to connect with patients and their families as well as creating a welcoming environment for all.
