One of the largest populations of riders we serve has a diagnosis of ADHD.
➡️Our riders can have difficulties with inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which can impact daily life in areas like work, school, and relationships.
🕐Common challenges are poor time management, organization skills, and focus.
🩶Other challenges include emotional regulation issues, restlessness, and forgetfulness. These issues can lead to problems like missing deadlines, losing things, and trouble with social interactions.

Therapeutic/ adaptive horseback riding…
🐴How it works:🐴
🤭Non-verbal communication: The system of communication with a horse, which involves subtle body language, reins, and leg cues, helps develop a different kind of focus and connection.
🔄 Feedback loop: Horses provide immediate, non-judgmental feedback on your actions, helping you understand the impact of your behavior in a low-pressure environment.
🏇Engaged, yet calming: A horse requires constant, full-body engagement, which can help ground individuals who find it hard to sit still. The rhythmic motion of the horse can also have a calming effect.

We’re thankful for precious moments like this when we only hear the wind in the leaves and hoof beats on the earth. In the quiet of nature, two souls and two hearts become one.

Boo at the Barn was extra sweet this year thanks to our Event Sponsor: Oh So Sweet🍪👩‍🍳

Oh So Sweet made all of our delicious cookie treats. You may recognize their boo-tifly decorated desserts. Oh So Sweet has supported Trinity Farm’s mission from the very beginning, 16 years ago! Stop by their shop and order your own cakes, cookies, desserts and more! (Then order a few extra and drop them off at the farm for Coach M & K. 😉)
