What’s your name, title, and how long have you been in healthcare?
My name is Danielle Logan, and I am the Director of Nursing here at the Arbors at Streetsboro. I have been in healthcare for 18 years.

What inspired you to work in healthcare?
Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a secretary in the outpatient Radiology department. I loved what I did, but I often found myself wanting to do more for the patients I saw come and go each day. It was frustrating not being able to help in a deeper way. Thankfully, a nurse in the department took me under her wing and encouraged me to pursue nursing. I followed her advice — and it was the best decision I’ve ever made, other than having my children.

What’s your favorite part of working with residents and families?
Knowing that I make a difference in someone’s life — even if it’s just by stopping to say hello — truly makes my heart happy. Sometimes the smallest gestures have the biggest impact.

What does “good care” mean to you?
To me, “good care” means caring for the whole person — not just their physical needs, but their emotional and spiritual well-being too. It also means building strong relationships with families. Creating meaningful connections with both residents and their loved ones is something I have always taken great pride in.

What motivates you on hard days?
Knowing that I’ve made a difference — and will continue to make one — is what keeps me going. The fact that people depend on me motivates me to show up each day ready to give my best.

What’s one thing you want residents or families to know about you?
This is my first LTACH leadership position, and in less than a year, I’ve achieved significant milestones. No matter my title, I am — and always will be — a nurse who loves working at the bedside and supporting my team whenever they need a helping hand. Choosing to become a nurse was the best decision I’ve ever made. Being a nurse is the most rewarding gift I could have ever received.

We brought the spirit of New Orleans to Arbors at Streetsboro with a festive Mardi Gras celebration featuring live entertainment! 🎶✨

Residents enjoyed lively music, festive beads, great company, and plenty of fun as we celebrated together in true Mardi Gras style. It was a joyful afternoon filled with laughter, dancing, and community spirit!

💝 Valentine’s Day Joy at Arbors at Streetsboro 💝

Our residents were truly showered with love this Valentine’s Day thanks to the kindness and generosity of St. Joan of Arc Church. Their wonderful volunteers spent the day with our residents, bringing thoughtful gifts, hosting fun ticket drawings, and filling our halls with beautiful songs that brought smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears.

We are incredibly grateful for their time, compassion, and dedication to spreading love and joy within our community. Moments like these mean so much to our residents and remind us how powerful connection and kindness can be.

We’re excited to welcome Casandra Rohr, our new Administrator at Arbors at Streetsboro! 💚 With 15 years in healthcare, Casandra brings passion, experience, and a heart for making a difference.

Q&A with Casandra:
Q: What inspired you to work in healthcare?
A: My mom and grandpa. My mom is a Nursing Home Administrator, and my grandpa always taught me subjects of anatomy and science, so it kind of fell into place throughout my childhood and adulthood.

Q: What’s your favorite part of working with residents and families?
A: Making a difference in people's lives. I like knowing that I did something impactful and can enhance the lives of others.

Q: What does “good care” mean to you?
A: Good care isn’t just physical—it’s emotional and mental too. Going beyond the standards and making each interaction individualized is what leaves an impression.

Q: What motivates you on hard days?
A: Knowing I’m making a difference. I believe this is where I belong and am invested—not just for residents, but for staff and families as well.

A: I am a person too, with feelings and thoughts, and I put my heart and soul into work that impacts others. I also have 2 kitties, Piper and Cali! 🐾
