A huge thank you to LuAnna Mynatt and her daughter for coming to Oak Wood and helping our residents make a Christmas Centerpiece. It was so wonderful for them to volunteer their time, knowledge, and craft supplies. This has been the talk of the facility so far this week. They are all beautiful and we are loving looking at them. They are already looking forward to the next time you come in.

We made gingerbread cookies on Friday morning. Friday afternoon we ate gingerbread cookies! They were delicious.

Bus Rides and Bingo is how we spend our Thursdays! The residents had a blast and even decided on an impromptu stop at Dollar General to do some shopping.

Wednesday we had apple cider Bundt cake at our coffee hour. The residents say it was delicious. Wednesday afternoon Mary Lynn wanted to make cookies and had a little helper.

The ladies of Oak Wood love to bake and decorate. Friday we enjoyed decorating cupcakes to have with our drinks by the fireplace in the afternoon. They were delicious and beautiful.

Thursday are for Trips around Henderson County! The residents went to Smithshire to see the beautiful fall leaves! It was the talk of the dinner table.

What a fun fall activity! Monday we colored bookmarks. The residents do a wonderful job and are glad to have new bookmarks for their books.
