It was super fun to be a speaker at the medical career series information day at the high school. It’s exciting to share about the wide range of patient populations that we work with. Often times people have a very specific idea of what a speech therapist does, typically in a school setting with a child who doesn’t make their sounds correctly. Opening these young students minds to the idea of how expansive this rewarding career field is such a cool opportunity. It was also nice to snag a quick hug from my boys. 💗 🥹

This story gave me all the feels this morning! As a SLP in private practice, I have the privilege of working with a lot of young adults who find themselves slightly different or unique… and are trying to figure out how to support their needs and develop a life plan. I always tell my clients, your uniqueness can be your super power, we just have to learn how to make that happen! 🥹

Kudos to this mom and dad for supporting their son, In his own unique way! I meet so many parents who worry endelssly, and almost always I get to tell them what a wonderful job they have done by leading with love! 💜

The Irony Is that although we’re the ones providing a service or “help”, each one of these special clients has taught us something new, or helped change our hearts, leaving us with a new appreciation for celebrating differences! How lucky we are to call this, “work”! 😌

My 3 boys all play football, so I’m basically at a stadium Wednesday through Saturday! I love watching them do what they love. It’s been so fun seeing my business name up on the scoreboard! I love this community and I’m so honored to be a sponsor this year for the live streaming of games! 💗

I’m so grateful for the patients and families that support my business so I can be exactly where I’m needed! Before all else, I’m privileged to be a mom! Thank you to everyone who has supported me and our little team, helping us create lives that we love! Happy to be giving back 👏!

I say this all the time, engage me as a listener, keep my attention, use your own confident style of communication, and you can be the best speaker in the room…regardless of your level of fluency! Check out this new blog from the experts! 👏👏👏

Fast talkers always get the spotlight, right? Nope. ❌

In today’s high-stakes careers, what you bring to the conversation, fresh ideas, and confidence in your own rhythm are way more important than how fast you talk. People who stutter prove that fluency doesn’t define success.

Our newest blog post discusses how people who stutter can own their voice and thrive in any fast-paced job.
