Just food for thought……what if the only restaurants that survive are fast food places?? Mom and Pop places are falling off all the time as they can’t compete with these larger companies that have such huge buying power. The support for smaller businesses is crucial for the economy and more importantly for the families that give their hearts, souls, blood, sweat and tears for the establishments they have built. Is the convenience of a drive thru to buy ultra-processed food, worth it? Do you appreciate hard work, creativity, dedication and variety?
Is the impersonal and dry reception from a fast food restaurant more appealing? or would you rather have a warm reception from a dedicated person who is passionate about the food and experience because they have put all they have into it? These are questions asked by every small business owner in the country right now. No matter what your political views are what built this country is the hard work, dedication and commitment to a craft. So during this difficult time we need to remember what we value and what our communities need to survive. Remember people and the value of community and interaction that nurtures the soul. Support your local restaurants, coffee shops, T-shirt shops, and specialty stores!! They love your business and sharing what they have created with you and your families. I’ll tag some of my favorites and there are so many more…….
