✨What does it mean? ✨
They, people in marketing, encouraged me not to use this name. Some of their reasons definitely made sense BUT it resonates deeply for me. So I trusted my intuition.
ASHI has a layer of meanings. An anagram, yes but also…
It means pain point in Chinese medicine. And we all have those and pain relief is a main goal of my practice, multidimensionally. It is a modality that I practice- Ashiatsu, meaning foot pressure which I incorporate throughout my bodywork sessions. It is also a combination of some of my breathwork patterns and sounds to regulate the nervous system.
This brand is about people genuinely connecting with others, connecting to the body, allowing the pain points and living and growing/healing intentionally.
And I find it absolutely beautiful!
There you have - the ASHI method of ASHI Bodywork 💗
