Camp Good Grief, an overnight, weekend camp for grieving children and teens ages 8 to 18, will be held March 20 - 22. Camp activities are designed to help campers express their grief and develop bonds with others who have experienced similar losses.

Registration is $25 per camper. Deadline to register is March 6.

Volunteer Peter Marshall and his certified therapy dog, Ben, brought smiles and comfort to patients at the Martin Inpatient Unit last week. After visiting patients, the duo stopped by the Mayes Center, where staff enjoyed a few minutes getting to know Ben, the most adorable little 4½-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. What a lovely afternoon surprise for our team!

Thank you, Peter and Ben, for brightening the day for our patients and staff!

In Florida, 1 in 10 children will experience the death of parent or sibling by the age of 18.
Grief is different for every child and teen, but no one has to face it alone.

If you know a child or teen who has lost a loved one, Camp Good Grief offers a safe, supportive space to heal.
