Metro Fire Protection BDA Division Submits the following for your Review and Consideration.

• Metro Fire Protection is Licensed by the FCC and Manufacturer Certified to assist with all your BDA (Bi-Directional Amplification) Needs during and after construction.

• In accordance with all applicable codes, Metro can perform a Pre-construction ground level signal strength analysis of current available signal strength as required by the AHJ.

• Metro Fire Protection will if contracted, perform an initial pre-construction survey, also a second final survey upon completion of the Dry in stage. You will be provided with the final acceptance survey required by the AHJ. At that time will be the final determination for if a BDA system will be required by code at the property.

• If you would like a Budgetary Estimate of a system install for the property once the preliminary survey has been completed one can be provided.

• Please be advised any change in geographical landscape (a building built in the line of sight of the closest tower) or a change in building materials may change the requirement for a system install by decreasing the signal strength within the building upon completion of the dry in stage.

• It is always recommended that a Fire Rated Riser equivalent to the building Fire Rating and/or a 2hr riser be installed during construction and designated for a BDA System should the need arise.

• This letter does not satisfy in any way the NFPA, AHJ requirements to have a final BDA signal strength survey performed upon completion of the dry in stage, prior to CO of said property to satisfy all applicable codes and requirements.
