Zen on Main’s 57 Main Street location is closing 12/31/25
This is a tough one to write. A lot of different emotions towards all that I’ve accomplished the last 3 1/2 years. Starting in a small room I built in my favorite gift shop in town The Thrifty Gypsy. Within 9 months I was so successful I moved into a new space that was as big as my house 😅 it was very exciting and I was ready for my vision to become reality.
At my one year mark, I was unable to take new clients because I was maxing out at 20-25 appointments every week. And I have so much gratitude because almost 3 years later I’m still maxed out.
After my move I created my dream massage room. Then the goal was to make a beautiful and unique space for our community to come heal, meditate, yoga, sound baths. The Zen Den was born. It had cushioned flooring, a waterfall mural, forest vibes, selenite lamps, yoga equipment. Just all around so unique, welcoming, and a lot of love and thought went into it. The space is enchanting, very special, and I’m really proud of it.
But as unique and amazing it is, I recently had to face a very harsh reality. There’s about 4 other competitors in just the town in Sturbridge for these types of classes now. Also, Covid has sadly changed the world in many ways if we’re being honest. A lot of people want virtual, they don’t want to leave their homes after work anymore, finances, etc. I also noticed a pattern of other places struggling to fill their classes.
As much as it kills me to have to leave, I can’t hold the weight and rent of this massive space anymore. I know it’s time. My health and time are really important to me. It is time for me to move on to a small room for myself and my faithful clients.
After almost 3 years at this location, 57 Main Street will be closing December 31st 2025. Please join us at The Zen Den for the month of December where we will have 3 more sound baths with Shannon and Yoga as well.
As always, a big thank you to my amazing friends, family, and faithful clients. Without you, none of this would have been possible. And thank you to anyone who came to enjoy The Zen Den. I will miss this space very much💔
This is not the end of Zen on Main but rather a new chapter. I’m staying humble, grateful, and moving forward with grace 🙏 Thank you all so much for your continued support!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! ✨🦃
