Tonight at the Sturbridge Select Board meeting, we had the opportunity to celebrate both a remarkable career and exciting new leadership within the Sturbridge Police Department and our Association.

Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to Dispatcher and Association Secretary, Toniah Maloney, who officially retired on 12/1/25 after 26 years of dedicated service. Toniah’s commitment to this department and our Association will always be appreciated, and we wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement.

We also congratulate Officer Thomas Giordano and Officer Richard Tracy on their promotion to Sergeant. We’re proud of you both and we look forward to watching you continue to grow in your leadership roles.

Thank you to everyone for their generous donations during our November Food Drive! With your help, the Sturbridge Senior Centers pantry is overflowing!

If anyone is looking to still donate, we encourage you to seek out local shelters, churches, or charities that may be in need! Thank you again to our amazing community members for making this inaugural November Food Drive such a success!

We hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Thank you to Assumption College Athletics and Pine Lakes RV Resort for generously providing turkeys and all the fixings, a great reminder of how supportive and selfless our community is.

Our Evening Shift was lucky enough to share a meal with the Sturbridge Fire Department and then our brothers and sisters from MSP at the Sturbridge (C5) Barracks

The kindness and camaraderie of the night reflect the true spirit of Thanksgiving, and we’re grateful for all of you. 🦃💙

We have a drop-off box in the lobby of the Sturbridge Police Department, available for drop off, 24/7. Donations are also accepted at the Sturbridge Senior Center M-F 8am-4pm!
