What’s your team like?
My team is truly exceptional and unlike any I’ve worked with before. Each day, it’s inspiring to see the level of quality care they provide to our clients. The compassion, dedication, and intentionality each team member brings to every session is unmatched, and it consistently elevates the standard of care across our entire clinic.

What is your favorite part about working at C2K?
It’s difficult to identify just one favorite aspect of working at C2K, as the environment is truly unlike any I’ve experienced before. What stands out most is the culture our team has built—staff consistently engage with clients in a warm, compassionate, and meaningful way. This level of genuine connection not only creates a positive atmosphere, but also elevates the quality of care we provide each day.

How have you grown professionally since working at C2K?
Since joining C2K in August 2025, I have experienced significant professional growth, particularly through stepping into my current role as Lead BCBA. This transition has allowed me to further develop my leadership abilities while expanding my clinical skill set. What I appreciate most about this field is the continuous opportunity for learning. Each day presents new challenges and insights, and I actively use these experiences to refine my approach and improve outcomes for both clients and team members. I am committed to ongoing growth and strive to consistently evolve as a clinician and leader in order to best support those I serve.

Favorite gym item to use during therapy?
During therapy I love using the stepping stones. These are so much fun to practice a variety of skills! Especially balancing while making an obstacle course.

What’s your most memorable moment at Cater 2 Kids?
It’s hard to choose just one memorable moment. What stands out most to me are the everyday interactions—especially seeing our team share genuine laughter with clients over common interests. Those moments of connection bring so much joy to the day and reflect the meaningful relationships we build in our work.

Meet Maegan!

My name is Maegan Whamond, and I’m from Framingham Massachusetts. I live with my wonderful husband, Connor – we’ve been together for almost 11 years and married for 2. I also come from a very supportive, loving and hilarious family. My younger sister and I are five years apart, but we’re really close.

One of my favorite foods is a hearty cheeseburger with all the fixings – simple, but always a win! Always sprinkle a little blue cheese on top controversial, but delicious.

I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst after working with students following my undergraduate studies and finding a career path that truly fulfills me each day. In ABA, everyone has a different “why”, and mine comes from the joy of seeing growth, progress, and even the challenging days that highlight perseverance, and the message that we can do hard things.

I’ve always loved helping others in any capacity, and this field allows me to do that in such a meaningful way.

During Autism Acceptance Month we are reminded that awareness is just the first step. It’s not enough to simply know autism exists — true support comes from acceptance. Acceptance means creating environments where autistic children and adults can be themselves, grow at their own pace, and shine in their own way.

At Cater 2 Kids SPOT, we see every child’s unique strengths and celebrate their progress every day. Our goal is to help children build skills, gain independence, and feel confident in their abilities, all while being fully embraced for who they are.
