Some have asked to see the damage. Here are some pictures of what we will be facing moving forward. Once again, I'm thankful for my staff for their amazing efforts in getting residents to safety, along with their own safety. In the end, it's only a building; it can be fixed. A life is priceless, and I'm thankful for the outcome. I'm sorry to the residents who lost their home and had to be relocated.

As you all may have heard, there was a fire this morning. All residents were evacuated very quickly. No residents injured. All residents have been placed into other facilities at this time. Thank you to everyone reaching out so quickly. Thank you to Boone County Fire for their quick response.
Thank you to the 2-night staff; you all did amazing.

We had a fantastic turnout from the community for our Halloween event! 250+ pulled pork sandwiches were served! We are excited to see all again next year! We are happy to have served the community of Sturgeon!

Sturgeon Rest Residential Care had its annual State inspection and was awarded a deficiency free survey! An indication that we are providing EXCEPTIONAL care and fully compliant with all State/Federal Regulations.
We are currently at max capacity in our home (with a waiting list.)This reflects highly of the care received within our facility. We are SO proud of our staff for making our home such a safe, clean and enjoyable place.

We embarked on a wacky adventure to Boots Farms corn maze and Pumpkin Patch, soaking up the sun's warm rays and inhaling that crisp country air, then we made a beeline for some ice cream on the way home.

Due to high winds we had to deflate the big pumpkin . Saturday night we forgot to deflate it and he went for a run down the street at 1am.
