At some point soon I will have to bring in food that will not handle being frozen (cans and glass jars etc...) But there should be enough of a variety that there will be something available even when the temp drops.

πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›Thank you to Sue Scott and Nancy Allison for their generous donations! πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›

Tomorrow millions of people in the US will not have access to food from a source they rely on. Children will go hungry, working parents will go hungry, grandmothers and grandfathers will go hungry.

Starting tomorrow we will convert our farm stand to a Little Free Food Pantry to help anyone who needs food. If you would like to contribute, it is super simple, just stop by and add your donations to the stand at any time! I will add a light out there so that folks can access it at any time of day.

πŸ’› BE the community you want to have. πŸ’›

I will add a link in the comments with ideas of what to donate to a food bank. If you are following Full of Hope Farm but are not local to Sudbury VT, please consider finding your local food bank and bringing what you can. Every little bit helps.

Never a dull moment on a farm.

Today our wonderful livestock vet came out to the farm to relieve poor Charlie Brown of a painful, partially broken horn. He was sedated and the nerves near his horn were numbed and we sawed his little stubby broken horn all the way off with a dremel tool. He is up and around now and probably looking forward to his pain relievers at dinner time. My gentle little buddy will be feeling a whole lot better now.

More adorable duck noises from Tilly and Tulip during their first forage in the grass. Enjoy.

Tilly and Tulip Step Out. Our two new little Call Ducks got to go out in the grass with the flock for the first time today. The call ducks little happy noises are the best. They were pretty psyched to forage in the grass!

Sunday, October 19, 10am-5pm

As you think about putting your gardens to bed this fall consider picking up some FREE composted goat manure from the farm to help enrich your soil for next season.

Bring five gallon buckets, trailers, pick up trucks, flower pots, grain bags or whatever container you can think of. I will help you load it up with shovels or tractor. If you live really close I can even deliver by tractor. Don't be shy. Stop on by!
