In honor of Valentine’s Day, we created a special “Romances to Remember” board celebrating the love stories that have touched and shaped our residents’ lives. From treasured photos with spouses and beloved pets, even favorite famous couples, each image represents a story, a memory and many meaningful moments. We’re honored to celebrate these beautiful romances that continue to live on in our hearts. ♥️

February is American Heart Month and with Valentine’s Day reminding us to celebrate love, it’s the perfect time to focus on caring for our hearts. Heart health becomes especially important as we age, but the good news is that small, consistent habits can make a meaningful difference.

🌸 International Lunch Club: Japan 🌸

Our residents recently enjoyed a delicious Japanese-themed lunch as part of International Lunch Club! The meal, provided by Takara Restaurant in Wayland, featured shrimp tempura, chicken teriyaki, noodles, and more, followed by a sweet serving of cherry vanilla ice cream for dessert.

A cherry blossom theme set the perfect mood, and the fun continued with door prizes—congratulations to Rhoda, who won a beautiful paper lamp, and Bertha, who won a cozy throw. It was a lovely afternoon filled with great food, shared moments, and plenty of smiles.

Sharing treasures and stories during a wonderful Show & Tell activity! From a hand-carved Santa and a lucky rooster, to a birthday turtle symbolizing long life, a cherished yearbook, and a few very special dogs, each item sparked smiles, memories and heartfelt conversations. It was a lovely way for our residents to share special moments from their lives with one another.
