Hello Everyone,

Megan is expecting a baby boy this coming August! She and Spencer are so excited to begin a new chapter of their lives as parents!

She plans to work up until her due date in late August, after which she will take a maternity leave for 12 weeks while she settles in to her new role as mom. During this time, I will be covering our caseload.

It's our goal to hire an outstanding new therapist to help us during Megan's maternity leave and to continue on in full time role (20-30 hours). She will be returning after her leave but we have room to grow as a practice and hope to find another full time therapist!

If you know any great PTs who may be interested in a change, or would like to work in the Aquatic environment, please send them our way! Also please share our hiring posts within your networks to help us find the right person!

CSM Boston 2024 is a wrap! Megan and I, along with 2 colleagues, presented to a packed house with a 50% full overflow room. One of the stars of our presentation, Zoe, was able to come with her Mom. I have worked with Zoe since she was 3 yrs old and she is going to college next year! We received positive feedback, lots of questions, and made connections with potential employees. We got an email from a student telling us it was the best presentation she had seen and she wants to come and learn more. For me, it was a privilege to share my knowledge. Thanks to Megan for spearheading our presentation and doing all the work to make it come to fruition. Thanks to the parents for granting your permission to document and share your children’s journeys. My work is my passion and these children enrich my life beyond measure.

It's exciting to present on this topic that is the cornerstone of our practice. We will present case studies of patients who we have been following for up to nearly 15 years, from early intervention to high school. It's an honor to share our knowledge at a national conference which attracts colleagues from all over the country.
