I’m working with a client now & as usual taken a multi step approach. He came because he is an accomplished pianist with tennis elbow in non dominant arm. He said that he’s been to many different treatment professionals & has not experienced any significant relief. This includes Accupuncturists, Physical Therapists & Massage Therapists.
The first day I worked with him I found both flexors & extensors that were in need in that forearm that hadn’t gotten enough circulation. That can B the case in a non dominant arm. There R also postural issues, lower thoracics into lumbar area muscles defending some vertebral distortions.
When The session was over he said that he felt like he went a few rounds with Joe Louis the boxer & made an appointment for next week. I told him I wanted him to get some TRX cables & set them up in his house.

What made it such a busy summer for us was that I was the home PT as she had homework from outpatient PT that we practiced 2x a day even on PT days.

Been a busy summer as my Mother-in-law had knee replacement surgery that involved both an Orthopedist & Robotics. I assume the Robotic part was the separation of the Femur(thigh bone) from the Tibia(leg bone) followed by scraping the surface of the platform(Tibia) put in a cushion to replace the cartilage & not cut any tendons. What U get is a very stable joint with swelling from the activity described & the biggest challenge becomes recapturing your Range of Motion.
My Mother-in-law is 92 & has been moving around at this time independent of any apparatus. Taking little if anything of Tylenol. Dr Bhadra is the Ortho, performed out of Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern NY

Many interesting connections for me between conventional massage & Cranial & Visceral approaches. Great stuff when U can bring all of ur skills to bear with a client.

Completed Cranial Sacral 1 on Sept 10th, good class a lot of info. My Visceral instructor kept telling me that I had to get into Cranial to round out my palpation skills/perception.
So I employed some Cranial Decompression with a client I've been working with for months. She had been in an auto accident with complications & it required much time, skills & patience to work thru what is was witnessing as the treatment time extended from the scheduled 45 minutes to over 2 hours. A very comprehensive 👀 at fluid dynamics.

Visceral Manipulation Pelvis, had a very interesting experience working with my partner during the course. It was 11:30 on the second day, we were working around the anterior pelvis along the rim with moderate pressure; my partner a male was rolling his head from side to side, eyes rolling back in his head, he was having an experience he could not put into either words or images; He wasn't "with it" for the rest of the afternoon. A testament to how important an area it is & what it can hold onto.
