The American Association of Physiological Medicine & Dentistry is a multidisciplinary group formed to build a bridge between physicians, dentists and other health care practitioners to provide fuller, integrated care for children and adults. The AAPMD focuses on issues relating to Airway / Sleep Disorders and their far-reaching consequences of chronic disease, poor performance, and learning difficulties. Even today only 15% of sufferers are recognized, diagnosed and treated. Throughout life this "Hidden problem may contribute to and be expressed as ADHD. learning and behavior problems, obesity, anxiety, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, dementia and cancer. All healthcare practitioners are invited to join with us to reverse this growing healthcare crisis.
